Laundry pickup & delivery in Union Square

Green Clean Laundromat serves the blocks around Union Square — the loft buildings and doorman rentals on Broadway, Park Avenue South, and Irving Place, the walk-ups east toward Third Avenue, and the student housing that fills the area around 14th Street. Pickup adapts to the building: doorman buildings hand off at the desk, walk-ups leave the bag inside the front door or on the landing with a note in the app.

Union Square is a mid-route stop for us, so windows are reliable every day of the week. Pickups run seven days a week in 1-hour windows starting at 7am, and the 7–8am window brings your laundry back between 6–7pm the same evening. With 10 lb minimum, students and single professionals can send a small load whenever it piles up.

Where we cover

Union Square sits at the meeting point of Broadway, Park Avenue South and 14th Street, in ZIP code 10003, with our coverage taking in the surrounding blocks from about 12th to 18th Streets between Fifth Avenue and Third. That includes the park itself, the Greenmarket (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday), the Strand bookstore on Broadway, Irving Plaza, and the NYU and New School residence halls nearby.

Local tip

On Greenmarket days the streets around the park fill with vendor trucks early in the morning. If you live right on the square, a slightly later pickup window is often smoother.

Common question

Can students use the service from a residence hall?

Yes. Leave the bag with the hall's front desk and include your full name and room number in the notes. Gramercy Park, just to the north, is covered under the same service.

Dry cleaning

Dry cleaning goes in a separate bag for our partner cleaner.
