Laundry pickup & delivery in the East Village

Green Clean Laundromat serves the East Village — the tenement walk-ups on the avenues and lettered streets, the newer rentals along the Bowery and Third Avenue, and NYU and Cooper Union housing around Astor Place. Most East Village buildings don't have a doorman, so pickup here is built for walk-ups: leave your bag inside the building's front door or on your landing during your 1-hour window, and tell us exactly where in the app notes.

Pickups run seven days a week in 1-hour windows from 7am, and the 7–8am window brings your laundry back between 6–7pm the same day. Our Alphabet City coverage runs east to Avenue D.

Where we cover

The East Village runs from 14th Street to Houston Street, from the Bowery and Third Avenue east to the East River, in ZIP codes 10003 and 10009. That includes Tompkins Square Park, St. Marks Place, the Ukrainian Village blocks on Second Avenue, Little Tokyo on East 9th, the community gardens of Alphabet City, and East River Park.

Local tip

Buzzers and front doors in older tenements aren't always reliable. If yours is one of them, give us your phone number and a fallback spot in the app notes, and let a neighbor know a bag is coming.

Common question

Is there a minimum?

Yes, 10 lb, which is about one full week of clothes for one person, and there are no service fees on top of the $1.90 per pound rate. Bedding and towels can go in the same order.

Dry cleaning

Items labeled dry clean only go in a separate bag for our partner cleaner.
