Laundry, done from your phone
Green Clean picks up and delivers on Roosevelt Island — Manhattan Park, Riverwalk, Southtown, the Octagon, and the Eastwood and Rivercross buildings along Main Street, plus Cornell Tech housing. Every building has a front desk or attendant: leave your bag there with your name on it and our driver hands off at the desk, so you don't need to be home.
Island laundry rooms are shared by hundreds of apartments, which is why most orders here are weekly wash and fold. Pickups run seven days a week in 1-hour windows from 7am; choose the 7–8am window and your laundry is back between 6–7pm the same day.
Where we cover
Roosevelt Island is the two-mile island in the East River between Manhattan and Queens, in ZIP code 10044, reached by the Roosevelt Island Tram from 59th Street and Second Avenue, the F train, the NYC Ferry, and the bridge from Astoria. It includes Four Freedoms Park at the southern tip, the Smallpox Hospital ruins, the Blackwell House, the Octagon at the north end, and the Cornell Tech campus.
Local tip
Our driver reaches the island by the bridge from Queens, so allow a little extra flexibility within your window during heavy traffic.
Common question
Is Roosevelt Island part of your Manhattan service area?
Yes. It's technically part of Manhattan, and orders get the same windows, the same same-day option and the same pricing as the rest of the borough. Cornell Tech students and staff can leave bags with their building's front desk.
Dry cleaning
Items labeled dry clean only go in a separate bag for our partner cleaner.
